IBC Pastor: Rev. Sidney Clay It is my prayer that all who view this web site will discover something which will enhance and bless their life. It is our purpose as we seek to serve the Lord to make Him available and accessible for all by the information and instruction portrayed on these pages. By telling and showing and sharing our love for Jesus and our dependence on Him, we pray that others will come to know Jesus as Saviour. The following pages are but examples of ways we can express our love and we invite everyone to unite in your expressions of love for the Lord. I am privileged to have served as the pastor of the Ideal Baptist Church for almost twenty-three years. I have been involved in the lives of some of the greatest saints of God, many of whom have already finished their sojourn on earth and now walk on streets of gold rather than roads of asphalt. Those I seek to pastor and serve with now unite our hearts and efforts in the war against satan to rescue as many as possible to the salvation of Jesus Christ. This is the ultimate purpose for the web site. We do pray that it will challenge you, inspire you, encourage and enlighten you and maybe on occasion cause a smile to part your lips. If you are looking for a church home we invite you to consider joining with us. We are not an institution for perfect people and serve only as a well-spring for God’s love, mercy, forgiveness and salvation to the oppressed and lost as well as for the child of God. If you are looking for a place to use your talents for God, there is opportunity here. If you are looking for a place to share your life in fellowship with others your goal can be fulfilled here. Over all else, if you are without Jesus as your Saviour we would be privileged to help you come to know Him. As pastor, I am available to the membership of the Ideal Baptist Church and as a servant of God I am available to try to help in the life of anyone. My personal message is very simple.
