Relay For Life/Team IBC
Relay For Life Macon County Relay For Life was held on Saturday 4-28-07. Team IBC entered the event for the first time this year. Mrs. Polly (Captain) and Mrs. Betty (Co-Captain)put together the team. Both these women have been very personally affected by cancer in the past year and they brought their passion for a cure to the team. Team IBC was honored to be able to raise a little over $4200.00 for this cause. Team IBC was enthusiastic and came with a Hee Haw Theme. In the end Team IBC placed 1st in "Funds Raised." Team IBC placed 1st as "Most Spirited Team." Team IBC placed 1st in "Best Decorated Camp." I know our humble Captains take or want no credit for any of the above but we are proud of our Captains. We are proud of our Team. We are glad we were able to make a small contribution to such a big cause. Everyone who participated in RFL 2007 has the exact same goal in mind. Finding a cure for cancer.
